Bob Peña

Bob Peña has lived in the Eastside neighborhood for the past 30 years. An urban farming pioneer, he has recently begun to farm in his backyard. Bob grows his own fruits and vegetables, raises his chickens, Anna and Elsa, keeps bees and has two goats, Adi and Obi. While the goats cannot currently live with him, he visits them every Saturday to collect their milk and spend time with them. Bob loves living in the Eastside neighborhood because of the wide variety of people who reside there. He enjoys living around people from all backgrounds and age groups. “The Eastside has more to offer in that it’s more like a community than a club,” he said.
